12. The “seven to eleven per year” category was missing from the survey due to programming error. Presumably, respondents from that category would have chosen either “three to six per year” or “one or more per month” depending on which more closely corresponded to their perceived frequency of flares. Therefore, whereas some level of sensitivity was lost, the measure should still adequately serve the purpose of analyzing relative differences in flares.
