VALUEOPTIONS AND INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH AND PRODUCTIVITY MANAGEMENT (IHPM) ANNOUNCE NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR IHPM’S 12TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL HEALTH & PRODUCTIVITY CONFERENCE

ValueOptions® Inc., and Institute for Health and Productivity Management (IHPM) are pleased to announce their formal partnership on IHPM’s 12th Annual International Conference April 2-4, 2012 in Orlando, Florida – A Global Experience in the Future of Health and Productivity.

ValueOptions, a national leader in the behavioral health field and now expanding globally, will become the Institute’s first-ever “Diamond Partner” for its international conference – a new level of participation. Ed Jones, President of ValueOptions’ Commercial Division, will deliver the opening conference keynote address, and chair the next day’s track devoted to behavioral health issues and case studies. In addition, Rich Paul, the company’s Senior Vice President, will talk about the expanding role and significance of Employee Assistance Plans (EAP) in addressing a growing range of health- related issues in the workplace around the world. And a plenary panel of corporate and consultant leaders will provide a rich overview and cross section of “in the trenches” experience.

“We’ve chosen to partner with IHPM for its 12th Annual International Health & Productivity Conference because it ‘pushes the curve’ on content with new thinking, offers the best networking opportunities with leading employers and practitioners, and has a global focus unique in the conference arena,” said Jones. ValueOptions already is a major sponsor of IHPM’s WorkPlace Center™ for Behavioral Health, and convenes its own behavioral health trends and policies group that includes IHPM.

“This year’s conference indeed will be global in its focus to a degree unprecedented in U.S. experience,” added Sean Sullivan, President & CEO of IHPM – “with special looks at China, Brazil, Mexico, the U. K. and E.U. and the Persian Gulf, as well as international overviews of health issues and trends. But the other major theme of this year’s event is the critical importance of behavioral health conditions and co-morbidities in the total health and performance equation. ValueOptions stands out as a thought leader as well as market leader in this domain, and we’re delighted that they are leading the charge in helping us make this an outstanding behavioral health conference, as well.”
