Sean Sullivan, President & CEO of IHPM will be chairing the session on the Role of the Individual Company in Making Better Health a Factor in National Economic Development, at the Life Sciences Innovation Forum of APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) on September 18-19 in Sendai, Japan.

IHPM concluded its 8th trip to China since 2006 with a special Shanghai World Expo Health Forum of 3 Cities in Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Dalian; sponsored and supported by the Chinese Medical Doctors Association (CMDA), the Ciming Health Checkup Management Group and local government organizations in each city like the Guangdong Province Health Department in Guangzhou.

Opening ceremonies included government representatives from the three cities followed with presentations by Sean Sullivan, JD & Deborah Love, IHPM, and global leaders Dr. Xiaohong Han, Founder of Ciming; Dr. Philip Hagen and Peter Streit of Mayo Clinic; Bill Motley and Linda Roberts of Abbott; Fiona Bao of The Dow Chemical Company; Zorianna Hyworon of InfoTech; H F Soo of Intel; and Dr. LinFeng Yu of Procter & Gamble.

IHPM now is preparing to begin research and development work with the Ciming Health Checkup Management Group. Attendees at this year’s 10th Annual event may recall seeing Dr. Bo Hu, Ciming's Chief Executive Officer. IHPM is partnering with Ciming in helping develop the Chinese market for health and productivity management and will be working out of Ciming's headquarters in Beijing and its regional offices in Dalian. Discussions also are taking place with the Guangdong Province Health Department about research and development work in South China.

As we look ahead to next year’s 11th Annual International Health & Productivity Conference in Orlando, April 4-6, 2011, IHPM will continue to push the boundaries of defining and increasing the value of employee health, for companies and nations alike.  For the first time:
